HELICOPTER
PILOTS:
Commercial Pilot Certificate
Instrument Rating
Class II Medical
3000 hours in rotorcraft
2000 hours PIC in rotorcraft
1000 hours twin-engine rotorcraft
200 hours nighttime in rotorcraft
1000 hours cross-country rotorcraft
Willing to relocate
**EMS experience
FLIGHT
NURSES:
Current Registered Nurse license for the New Mexico Board of Nurse Examiners
3 years RN experience in Critical Care/ Emergency Department
Current certifications in the following:
Basic Life Support (BLS-C)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-P)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS-P)
PHTLS or Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS)
TNCC-P
Also must complete Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification within 9 months and Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) within 2years of employment.
**CCRN or CEN or CFRN
**Instructors certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS
**Neonatal resuscitation provider (NRP)
Flight
Paramedics:
High school graduate.
Successful completion of Department of Transportation approved Paramedic training program.
NREMT-P certification
Minimum of 3 years experience as an EMT-P with an active MICU/ALS unit.
Current certification in the following:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-P)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS-P)
BTLS or PHTLS provider
HELICOPTER
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
Current Airframe and Power plant certification
5-year current aircraft maintenance experience
Good understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations
Willing to work flexible hours and be on call with a pager
Live
within 25 minutes of Roswell, New Mexico, airport
Good driving record
Good judgment skills
Some travel required
Be able to work from Maintenance Manuals, drawings, and blueprints
Be able to work unsupervised
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair helicopters and aircraft
Willing to work on maintenance projects other than aircraft
**Background in aircraft avionics and electrical systems
**Background in Air Medical Transport
**Good work practices
**Knowledge of laminate repairs
**Good knowledge and training on helicopters
